Frederick Kumi, also known as Abu Trica, has filed a GH¢10 million lawsuit against several Ghanaian investigative bodies and the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), alleging unlawful detention, human rights violations, and coercive interrogation without legal representation. Trica claims he was denied food, water, and rest during his arrest and detention, compelled to sign documents, and had property seized without inventory, while the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) allegedly violated his presumption of innocence by labeling him a "notorious cyber-criminal
